Burrill Track

Burrill Track, in the Okiwi area, was formed in the 1970's by miners prospecting for copper.

Kaiaraara Track and Kauri Dams

The Kaiaraara Track heads up past the kauri dam to the summit of Hirakimata (Mt Hobson).

Alert:  Track is open, new work at the bottom may confuse some people. Temporary signage is in place to help with directions.

Kaitoke Hot Springs Track

Kaitoke Hot Springs Track is a popular easy walk to sulphurous hot springs on Great Barrier Island. It's buggy and wheel chair friendly too.

Palmers Track via Windy Canyon

Windy Canyon Lookout is a popular walk offering spectacular views. You can then continue on Palmers Track to the summit of Mt Hirakimata.
